New Delhi: The OIL pavillion at NERC 2022 bagged the 1st prize in the professional organisation category showcasing E&P excellence. The award was given away by Shri Lok Ranjan, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of DoNER to the OIL team at the valedictory session.
The Navratna government corporation Oil India Limited (OIL) is the second largest Indian-government owned hydrocarbon explorer and producer. The company carries out operations through a total of five subsidiaries, namely OIIL (Oil Indian International Limited), Oil India International BV, Oil India Sweden AB, Oil Indian (USA) Inc and OIL Cyprus.
OIL is engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, transportation of crude oil and production of liquid petroleum gas. Also acquired majority shares in Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) from Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. , thus making NRL a subsidiary of OIL.
