ONGC jumping a whopping 5.55 percent to 112.20 on BSE
New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), an Indian public sector Energy Maharatna became one of the top gainers in intra-day trading on BSE India and National Stock Exchange on 23 Feb 2021, jumping a whopping 5.55 percent to 112.20 on BSE.
The market cap of ONGC is Rs 1.41 lakh crores. ONGC is the biggest wealth creator in India, produces around 70% of India's crude oil and around 84% of its natural gas.
In a survey by the Government of India for the fiscal year 2019–20, it was ranked as the largest profit-making PSU in India. It is ranked 7th among the Top 250 Global Energy Companies by Platts.
