PFC ranked up: stood at 29th position in Fortune India 500 Companies 2021

New Delhi: An Indian financial institution Power Finance Corporation beats its own record and stood 29th position in Fortune India 500 Companies in 2021. Back in Fortune India 2020, PFC ranked 33 positions.

The Fortune India 500 is a ranking of the top 500 corporations in India compiled on the basis of the latest sales and gross revenue figures. The list is published annually by Fortune magazine. Fortune India is Fortune's sixth international edition following local editions for China, Turkey, Korea, Indonesia as well as a special edition for Greece

Other PSUs including the Steel Authority of India and Gas Authority of India shifted from their position. SAIL ranked 30th which is a level down from 2020. However, GAIL dropped its position at 34, compared to 2020 it stood at 26th.
