Plantation conducted by NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club Members
Plantation or the act of planting trees is a crucial aspect of caring for the environment as it helps in various ways towards environment conservation such as maintaining Biodiversity, Soil Conservation, Water Conservation & Climate as it is said “He/She who plants a tree, plants a hope”.
Keeping in view of the benefits of plantation of trees and ongoing monsoon, NTPC Swayamsidha Ladies Club, Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi planted trees like Neem, Peepal and Banyan, which are popularly knowns as Triveni trees,the plantation drive was done under the guidance of Smt Rekha Jain,President ,Swayamsiddha Ladies Club in the august presence of committee members of the club.
Plantation of Triveni trees was conducted at Dungri village,Ranchi.This noble work was possible with the help of village panchayat head and Asha Home,Ranchi members.On this occasion, the village head thanked all the ladies club Members for the tree plantation which is a small step initiative towards to protecting the environment.

On the occasion President, Smt Rekha Jain took the initiative for distribution of the certificates and encouraged the trainees to become self-reliant which was followed by Vice Presidents, Smt Shika Rastogi & Smt Purnima Shrikhande ,Smt Deepa,General Secretary , Joint Secretary ,Smt Parmeshwari, Cultural Secretary ,Smt Anita Prasad,Smt Mansa Verma,Welfare Secretary. Smt Snigdha Majhi ,Treasurer and other members were present on the occasion.
