PM Modi praises exhibition by AAI's Ayodhya Airport
New Delhi: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi praised the exhibition put up by AAI's Ayodhya Airport at the Investor Conference organized at Indira Gandhi Foundation, Lucknow. Engineer Incharge, Project Ayodhya Joint General Manager Apprised the Prime Minister about the progress of the project.
A glimpse of the grand airport being built in Ayodhya was also shown at the stall.
The Airport is an international airport being constructed at Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. The existing government airstrip is situated between NH 27 and NH 330 at Sultanpur Naaka, Faizabad. The State Government signed a memorandum of understanding with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) in February 2014 for the development of the airport.
