PM to lay foundation stones of 1406 projects worth around Rs 80,000 crore in Lucknow
The projects include diverse sectors like Agriculture & Allied, IT & Electronics, MSME, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Pharma, Tourism, Defense & Aerospace, Handloom & Textiles etc.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on May 3, 2022, Friday will attend the Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit and lay the foundation stone of 1406 projects worth more than Rs 80,000 crores. The Prime Minister will reach Paraunkh village in Kanpur at around 1:45 pm, where he will visit Pathri Mata Temple along with Hon'ble President Shri Ram Nath Kovind.
After this, at around 2 pm, he will visit Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhawan, after which he will visit the meeting center at 2:15 pm. The center is the ancestral home of the Hon'ble President, which was donated for public use and converted into a community center (Milan Kendra). They will then attend a public function at Paraunkh village at 2:30 pm.
The projects include diverse sectors like Agriculture & Allied, IT & Electronics, MSME, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Pharma, Tourism, Defense & Aerospace, Handloom & Textiles etc. The event will be attended by top industry leaders of the country.
During the first ground breaking ceremony, foundation stone for 81 projects of high value was laid. An amount of over Rs 61,500 crore was laid, while the second ground breaking ceremony saw the laying of foundation stones for 290 projects involving an investment of over Rs 67,000 crore.
