New Delhi: Union Power Secretary Alok Kumar on Monday, May 16, 2022, reviewed the domestic thermal coal evacuation systems along with additional Secretary Vivek Kumar Dewangan in Paradip Port. Apart from it he also reviewed the coal supply to power plants and inspected the infrastructure and modernization projects. Chairman of Paradip Port Authority (PPA) PL Haranadh was also presented.
However, he took a look at ongoing projects of railways and directed the railway authorities to complete various ongoing projects like electrification in the new BOT bulb and shifting of IFFCO on Concor’s MMLP. Also assured to complete the projects by July 2022.

Moreover, he also reviewed the rail connectivity projects like Sambalpur-Talcher doubling work, quadrupling of Jharpada-Budhapank, and Budhapank-Salegaon besides auto-signaling between Cuttack and Paradip.
