Ravi Kumar, DGM (CC), PowerGrid conferred with Best Communicator Award

New Delhi: Shri Ravi Kumar, DGM, Corporate Communications, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has been felicitated with the "Best Communicator Award" by "Media Federation of India" at their annual awards function "16th Media Excellence Awards” organized on 2nd April 2022 at New Delhi.

The award was conferred to Shri Ravi Kumar jointly by Prof. Sanjay Diwedi, Director General, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, Mr. Sandeep Marwaha, President, Film Institute, Noida, and Mr. Arun Sharma, President, Media Federation of India in the presence of a large gathering of professionals from all over India.

Sh Ravi is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, and a topper & scholarship holder at Post Graduation level.

He started his career two decades ago as a journalist with the Times of India group and later joined Maharatna PSU of Government of India (POWERGRID) as a PR professional. He spearheaded a number of communication campaigns for the Company and the power sector, including handling the first-ever Infrastructure Investment Trust of a PSU in India.
