REC foundation supports Tata Memorial Centre for cancer care services
New Delhi: REC Foundation a Charitable organisation under REC Limited implements CSR activities supports Tata Memorial Centre for strengthening cancer screening and basic cancer care services in 14 districts of Bihar under the theme promoting preventive health care. Under the project approx. 2000 cancer screening camps for oral, breast and cervical cancer in 14 district of Bihar namely: Bhojpur, Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, Patna, Begusarai, Siwan, Samastipur, Supaul, Gaya, Nalanda, Muzaffarpur, Dharbhanga, Vaishali & Madhubani covering 1.50 lakh population free of cost over a period of one year.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in this regard was executed between REC Foundation, Tata Memorial Centre on 09.03.2021. Dr. S N Srinivas, CEO, REC Foundation, New Delhi, and Dr. Ravikant Singh, Officer In charge, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Muzaffarpur Unit of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai signed the MoA in presence of Shri Sanjay Malhotra, IAS, CMD, REC Limited; Shri S K Gupta, Director (Technical), and Shri Ajoy Choudhury, Director (Finance & CSR), REC Limited and other senior officials of REC Limited.
