SBI Assam branch Teok infected by COVID-19 virus
Jorhat: The State Bank of India Assam, branch Teo branch is infected with the deadly coronavirus. The branch is in the Jorhat district of Assam.Reported that the four employees of the bank have been tested positive for COVID-19 during the Rapid Antigen test, conducted in the branch on Tuesday.
Currently, the bank’s branch in Teok will suspend all activities and remain closed for five days up to Sunday as said by Branch Manager. The decision will be taken later on the opening of the branch while taking safety measures and precautions.
Therefore, Assam so far has registered a total of 45,275 COVID19 positive cases, currently has 11,135 active patients while 33,428 patients have discharged from the hospitals or COVID Care Centres across the state while the deadly disease has claimed the lives of 109 positive patients.
