Shri Nand Lal Sharma inspected power house works

Shimla: Sh. N. L. Sharma, CMD SJVN & Chairman, SAPDC inspected the ongoing construction activities of 900 MW Arun-3 Hydro Electric Project in Nepal.He was accompanied by Sh. Rakesh Bansal, Director (Electrical) Smt. Geeta Kapur, Director(HR), Sh. A.K.Singh, Director (Finance) and Sh. Suresh Thakur, Chief General Manager.

 

During the visit, Sh. N.L. Sharma inspected Power House works. He reviewed the progress and directed to expedite the progress. He inspected the construction of Adit-3 and Head Race Tunnel.CMD, SJVN & Chairman, SAPDC also inspected the works at dam site and visited dam stripping works at left & right banks and Diversion Tunnel.

 

He took a note of Progress of Project and issues pending with Govt of Nepal. Further, he directed to augment machinery and materials to expedite the progress of works at Dam and powerhouse components.Sh. N.L. Sharma expressed satisfaction on the progress of project of Arun-3 and directed project authorities to make all sincere efforts to complete the project in the scheduled time.
