SJVN Green Energy signed its first Power Purchase Agreement for 100 MW
New Delhi: SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN today inked its First Power Purchase Agreement for 100 MW at a tariff of Rs. 2.65 per Unit with PSPCL at Patiala.
Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director stated that in the backdrop of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision to generate 500 GW Energy by 2030 from non-fossil sources, SJVN has embarked on an ambitious journey for development of renewable energy. SJVN is adding significant renewable projects to its portfolio to pursue this vision.
Sh. Sharma also informed that this 100 MW project is the first venture of SGEL and same shall be developed in Punjab with target commissioning by November 2023. The annual energy generation from this project shall be around 250 MU. Total investment for this project shall be around Rs. 600 Crore.
