SJVN CMD Meets Governor of Himachal Pradesh
Shimla: Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN Limited paid a courtesy visit to Hon’ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh Sh. Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhawan, Shimla today.
Read Also : Indian Govt signs USD 175 million loan agreement with ADBDuring the meeting, Sh. Sharma apprised the Hon’ble Governor about SJVN's ongoing and upcoming projects in the state. He also briefed about various hydro, solar, wind, and thermal projects of the company Pan India and in neighbouring country Nepal.

Nand Lal Sharma extended an invitation to the Hon’ble Governor for a visit to SJVN's 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS) which is country’s largest underground hydro power station and 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station (Rampur HPS) in Himachal Pradesh. NJHPS and Rampur HPS are being successfully operated in Tandem, which is first of its kind considering its automation and volume.
