SJVN Green Energy Ltd signed Contract Agreement with M/s Hartek Solar Private Ltd

Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN informed that SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, has entered into Contract Agreement for EPC Package of 15 MW Floating Solar Project.

NEW DELHI- Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN informed that SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, has entered into Contract Agreement for EPC Package of 15 MW Floating Solar Project at Nangal Pond, Near Village Neilla, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh with M/s Hartek Solar Private Limited, Mohali.

Sh. Nand Lal Sharma apprised that the EPC contract amounting to Rs 91 crores includes Operation and Maintenance of the Solar PV Power Plant for a period of three years. The Solar Project has been secured through open competitive bidding at a tariff of Rs. 3.26/- in the e-reverse auction organized by SECI.

Sh. Sharma further told that the project will generate 33 million units of energy in first year of operation and the cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years would be about 756 million units. 

Power Purchase Agreement for the power produced from the project has been signed with BBMB for 25 years. Commissioning of this project is expected to reduce 37,044 tonnes of carbon emission. 

The Contract Agreement was signed by Sh. Manoj Kumar Negi, DGM Contracts, SGEL and Sh. Mani Kant, Head-Projects, Hartek Solar Private Limited.
