Town Official Language Implementation Committee Awards Presented to PSUs

NEW DELHI- ‘Rajbhasha Gaurav Samman’ for the year 2021-22 was awarded to the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) located in Visakhapatnam for their exemplary performance in the field of Official Language implementation and ‘Nagar Rajbhasha Samman’ to the Hindi Officers & Coordinators of the respective organizations by Sri Atul Bhatt, Chairman, Town Official Language Implementation Committee-TOLIC (PSU), Visakhapatnam & CMD, RINL in the meeting of TOLIC (PSU), Visakhapatnam held on 22 July 2022 at Hotel Four Points (Sheraton) 

Member organizations are divided into two categories on the basis of number of employees.  In category-1 five offices and in category-II six offices were recognized for their exemplary performance towards usage of Official Language Hindi. 

TOLIC Awards:

In category-I HPCL-Visakha Refinery, NTPC Simhadri, NICL(National Insurance Corporation Limited), Visakhapatnam Port Authority, LIC were awarded with First, Second, Third & Protsahan prizes respectively, while in category-II, HPCL-Visakha Regional Office, MSTC Limited, GAIL (India) Limited, FCI-Regional Office, Airport Authorities of India Limited, ECGC(Exports & Guarantee Corporation Limited), secured positions in the same order. 

Chief Guest Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD-RINL & Chairman, TOLIC (PSU) expressed happiness that TOLIC (PSU) has achieved a special mention by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India by bagging Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar – First Prize for the year 2020-21 at National Level by Govt. of India.  While congratulating the award winners, he appreciated the efforts of TOLIC (undertaking) and support of all the member organizations in the progressive use of Hindi in Visakhapatnam.  Sri Narendra Singh Mehra, Asst. Director (Implementation), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India reviewed the progress made by the member organizations in the field of Official Language implementation in this meeting and suggested necessary steps for further betterment. Sri G Gandhi, CGM (HR)-Corporate Services, RINL was also present in the programme.

6th issue of ‘Visakha Dhara’ TOLIC Hindi Magazine and ‘Samandar ka Shahar’ written by Smt. Sudha Kumari ‘Juhi’, DAV School, Ukkunagaram were released on this occasion. 

Sri Lalan Kumar, GM (Rajbhasha) & Administration- Incharge & Member-Secretary (TOLIC) convened the meeting.  Dr. T Hymavathi, AGM (Rajbhasha) proposed the vote of thanks.
