Valedictory Function of Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 at ECIL
Hyderabad : The Valedictory Function of Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 for Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad was held at Dr. Homi J. Bhabha Convention Centre (NFC Auditorium) today. Shri K.V. Chowdary, IRS (Retd.), Former Central Vigilance Commissioner graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Dinesh Srivastava, Distinguished Scientist, Chairman& Chief Executive, NFC attended as the Guest of Honour.
The programme was attended by all the Employees of ECIL, School Children of the Atomic Energy Central School, DAE Colony and the CISF personnel posted to NFC & ECIL.Rear Admiral Sanjay Chaubey (Retd.), Chairman & Managing Director, ECIL welcomed the gathering and outlined the Vigilance related activities of ECIL and the plan of action for making ECIL an organisation with high standards of probity and ethics. Shri. K.V. Chowdary in his inspiring address underscored the importance of Integrity in all walks of life and exhorted School Children and the ECIL Employees to adopt fair means and due processes in personal and official conduct. He outlined the purpose behind the Vigilance Awareness Week activities and the importance of Ekta Divas, among other things. Dr. Dinesh Srivastava stressed upon the importance of Vigilance at all times and said that all efforts should be made to make ethics and values a daily part of our lives.
The School Children from the Atomic Energy Central School took active part and presented a cultural programme relating to the Theme of Integrity and Values and Ethics in Society.
The Valedictory Session was followed by a “Walkathon” from the Auditorium to the Corporate Headquarters of ECIL in which ECIL Employees, School Children and CISF Personnel participated carrying slogans and banners related to Vigilance. The “Walkathon” was flagged off by Rear Admiral Sanjay Chaubey (Retd.), C&MD, ECIL.
