WCL honored with seven awards on Coal India Foundation Day

New Delhi: On 01 November, the 49th Foundation Day of Coal India Limited, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) was honored with the Corporate Award on Swachhta Pakhwada.

Similarly, Corporate Award on Star Rating – Best Performing Subsidiary in the category of best-performing company and Corporate Award on Star Rating – Best Performing Subsidiary in the category of best performing open mine. Awarded 3rd position in Performing Open Cast Mine).

Among the individual awards, Mr. George Mathew of WCL Headquarters was given the Best HoD, General Manager of Majri Region Mr. Ilyas Hussain Shaikh was given the Best Regional General Manager and for excellent work, Mr. M.K. Baluka, General Manager (Finance) was honored with the Individual Excellence Award.

Special Contribution Award to Shri Neeli Purushottam, General Manager (E&T), Shri Kalluri Ramakrishna Reddy, Chief Manager (E&T) and Shri Vaibhav Kumar Yadav, Assistant Manager (E&T) for better implementation of Integrated Command and Control Centre. (Special Contribution Award).

In the felicitation ceremony held in Kolkata, the said awards were received by CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar and the winners from the hands of Chief Guest Mr. P.M. Prasad, Chairman, CIL, Under Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Mr. M. Nagaraju and Mrs. Vismita Tej. Mr. Manoj Kumar gave credit for these achievements to the entire team and congratulated them.
