This training will not only help the youth to acquire new skills but will also open up opportunities for self-employment or employment in garment institutions.

New Delhi: During the current financial year WCL through its CSR will train 200 youth in tailoring and apparel designing. As a part of this initiative, the training of 35 youths was started today at the Skill Development Centre, Indore of WCL.

At the inauguration of the training, Shri Prabhakar Deshpande, General Manager, Human Resource Development Department was present as the chief guest. In his address, he told all the youth about the new possibilities in the field of apparel designing. He called upon all the students to set their goals and work tirelessly in that direction.

On this occasion Chief Manager (Mining) from Human Resource Development Department Mr. Nitin Saxena and Chief Manager (Mining) from Skill Development Center Mr. R. s. Gupta and Mr. Satish Patel of Apparel Training and Design Centre, Chhindwara were prominently present.

Similar training will also be organized from July 13, 22 at STI, Chhindwara. This training will not only help the youth to acquire new skills but will also open up opportunities for self-employment or employment in garment institutions. After successful training, the youth will be given full assistance by ATDC for employment.
