BEML gears up to build future of Rail & Metro in MP, Acquires approx 148 acres land from Govt
BEML has stated through the exchange filing that the Government of Madhya Pradesh has approved the allotment of 60.063 hectares (approximately 148 acres) of land to the Company.
New Delhi: State-run BEML Ltd has shared an intimation regarding the Acquisition of Land in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh for Setting up of Construction Project.
The company has stated through the exchange filing that the Government of Madhya Pradesh has approved the allotment of 60.063 hectares (approximately 148 acres) of land to the Company.
The land is located in Umeria, Raisen district, and has been allotted for setting up a construction facility to manufacture rolling stock/coaches for railway and metro projects in the state.

The land is set aside for the establishment of a construction facility specifically designed to produce coaches and rolling stock. This new facility will specifically meet the manufacturing requirements of future Madhya Pradesh railway and metro projects, enhancing regional manufacturing capacities and possibly generating job opportunities.
