As the industry transitions towards AI, automation, and autonomy, Shri Roy emphasized the importance of reinforcing the foundational principles of engineering. With the mining sector on the brink of an unmanned and autonomous revolution, BEML is already laying the groundwork. From pioneering Unattended Train Operations (UTO) in Metro systems to advancing autonomous and amphibious solutions in Defence, BEML continues to push the boundaries of smart, mission-critical mobility.
Sustainability remains central to this vision. In recent months, BEML has introduced two key innovations—an indigenously designed 550 HP Motor Grader and a 21 Cu. all-electric Rope Shovel, both developed in-house as part of our commitment to greener, smarter mining solutions.
