EIL, NRL, and Trenchless Engineering Services achieves major milestone

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Limited, and Trenchless Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. achieved a major milestone with the safe and successful pullback of a 26” diameter pipeline section across the Ganga River crossing in Bihar by the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method, adopting the Intersection Technique.

The tie-in length of this crossing is 4027 meters, which is the longest for a 26" diameter pipe and thus has set a World Record for HDD for a 26” diameter Pipeline. All activities pertaining to this accomplishment were completed within a span of 76 days, 15 days ahead of schedule.
