HUDCO to Raise up to Rs. 2,500 Crore via Taxable NCDs (Series-E 2025)

New Delhi – Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has announced the issuance of Unsecured, Taxable, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) under Series-E 2025, aggregating up to Rs. 2,500 crore, via private placement.
The NCDs carry a tenor of 7 years, with a 1% annual fixed coupon, and a face value of Rs. 1,00,000 each. The issue is scheduled for allotment on 12th December 2025, with interest payments commencing from 12th December 2026 and subsequent annual payments until maturity on 12th December 2032. The NCDs will be listed on the BSE within three trading days from the closure of the issue.
The issue proceeds will be used to augment HUDCO’s long-term resources, including lending activities, repayment/refinancing of existing debt, and other operational requirements. The NCDs are unsecured and rated ‘AAA’ (Stable) by ICRA, CARE Ratings, and IRRPL.
The minimum application size is Rs. 1 crore, with subsequent subscriptions in multiples of Rs. 1 lakh. Payments will be made through the BSE EBP platform, and settlement will be via NSDL/CDSL in dematerialized form.
HUDCO has also outlined default interest, penal interest, and other investor safeguards, with all legal and regulatory requirements in place.
