IRCON – Jakson JV’s bid of Rs. 1526 crore was 25.90% higher than MMRDA’s Rs. 1212 crore estimate, so this will head to the negotiation table which will add more delays in an already-delayed project.

This is Jakson’s second major win in the last couple of months. Over in Bengaluru, they won electrical & mechanical contracts E&M-6 for 28 stations of Bangalore Metro’s 57 km Blue Line connecting Silkboard – KR Puram – Bengaluru International Airport.
