Railtel selects Techno Electric & Engineering Co as Data Centre Partner
The Time period to execute the order is 30 years including implementation time period and may be further extended with mutual consent between RailTel and TECL.
New Delhi: Navratna telecom infrastructure PSU, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has opted Techno Electric & Engineering Co. Ltd. (“TECL”) as Managed Service Data Centre Partner through open tender process on revenue sharing basis to setup 10MW Data Centre in phases on RailTel’s land in Noida.
The exchange filing stated that RailTel has selected M/s Techno Electric & Engineering Co. Ltd as Managed Service Data Centre Partner through open tender process on revenue sharing basis to setup 10MW Data Centre in phases on RailTel’s land in Noida. LOI has been issued in this regard. As per the LOI, RailTel will receive revenue share on fixed percentage basis.

Further, the company mentioned, “Since this is earning award, RailTel will receive revenue share on fixed %age basis. The quantum of earning cannot be determined at this stage”.
Shares of Railtel Corporation are surged by 4.04% at Rs 414.75 at the BSE.
