SJVN Director Visits Arun-3 Transmission Line Project in Nepal
SJVN Director Ajay Kumar Sharma inspects 217 km Arun-3 Transmission Line and Dhalkebar Substation in Nepal, emphasizing India-Nepal cooperation and environmental commitment.

Janakpur, Nepal – Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) of SJVN, visited the Arun-3 Transmission Line works in Janakpur, Nepal, to review the progress of the 217 km, 400KV Double Circuit Arun-3 Transmission Line. During the visit, he also inspected the 400/220 KV SAPDC Substation at Dhalkebar.
As part of his visit, Sh. Sharma planted a sapling within the substation premises, symbolizing SJVN’s commitment to environmental stewardship. He congratulated the team on the completion of substation works and highlighted that the transmission line reflects strong synergy and cooperation between India and Nepal.
Sh. Ashutosh Bahuguna, CGM (Transmission Line), and other officials assured the Director that the transmission line project is on track for completion ahead of schedule.
This project underscores SJVN’s dedication to regional power infrastructure development while promoting sustainable practices.
