Shares of the public sector company NLC India Ltd rose by up to 11 percent after the company reported significant increases in its net profit and revenue for Q3 FY25. The net profit surged by 174 percent year-on-year, while revenue grew by 39 percent.
In Q3 FY25, NLC India Ltd's revenue increased from Rs. 3,164 crore in Q2 FY25 to Rs. 4,411 crore in Q3 FY25, reflecting a 39 percent rise on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Year-on-year, revenue saw a 21 percent growth, climbing from Rs. 3,657 crore in Q3 FY24 to Rs. 4,411 crore in Q3 FY25.
However, the company's net profit decreased by 29 percent compared to the previous quarter, dropping from Rs. 982 crore in Q2 FY25 to Rs. 696 crore in Q3 FY25. On a year-on-year basis, net profit, however, experienced a remarkable increase of 174 percent, going up from Rs. 254 crore in Q3 FY24 to Rs. 696 crore in Q3 FY25.
