Defence shipbuilding stock Garden Reach Shipbuilders experienced an increase of 5.3% on Tuesday, reaching an intraday high of Rs 1,588.95 per share on the BSE. The stock had initially gained following the company’s Q3 results.
By around 12:27 PM, the share price of Garden Reach Shipbuilders was up 2.09%, trading at Rs 1,540 per share on the BSE. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was down 0.93%, standing at 77,906.99 points. The company's market capitalization was Rs 17,641.01 crore.
The stock's 52-week high was Rs 2,834.60 per share, while its 52-week low was Rs 674.25 per share. Garden Reach Shipbuilders released its Q3 results on Monday after market hours, reporting an 11% increase in net profit to Rs 98 crore, compared to Rs 88 crore a year ago. The company's revenue for the quarter was Rs 1,271 crore, reflecting a 37.7% increase from Rs 923 crore in the previous year.
