BHEL commissions 130 MW hydro unit in Himachal Pradesh
SHIMLA. BHEL has commissioned all the four units of the 520MW Parbati III hydro electricity project (HEP) in Himachal Pradesh, .
The company has recently commissioned the fourth and final 130MW hydro generating unit at the project while the first three units were installed in February and March 2014.
NHPC owns the Parbati III project, which is situated near Bihali village on the left bank of river Sainj, in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.
