Government World Bank sign USD 650 million pact for eastern corridor project
NEW DELHI:World Bank and India today signed a USD 650-million loan for Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd. (DFCCIL) for the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC).
This Agreement was signed by Shri Raj Kumar, Joint Secretary (MI), Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance on behalf of the Government of India and Mr. Hisham Abdo, Acting Country Director, World Bank, India on behalf of the World Bank.
