Mahanadi Coalfields to renovate Talcher pond under CSR programme
Kolkata, Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) has taken up a project to renovate Sobhagya Sagar pond at Talcher in Angul district of Odisha as part of its CSR programme. According to an MCL release, the project would cost Rs 3.22 crore.
Shri A. N. Sahay, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of MCL, on Friday laid the foundation stone for renovation of the pond. This project is expected to benefit around 50,000 people of Talcher municipality.
