NRDC Inks Pact with Tezpur University Assam
New Delhi: National Research Development Corporation signed an MOA with Tezpur University, Assam, by an act in Parliament of India in 1994, for commercialization of IPs & Technologies developed at their university. The university has an active research culture and developed several prototypes as informed by TUIPR Cell officials.
The agreement was signed by Dr. H. Purushotham, CMD, NRDC and Shri Biren Das, Registrar, Tezpur University. The senior officials and faculties from both the organizations are present during the signing ceremony of the MOA.
This MOA with NRDC will provide expert services in IPR management, training, Techno-commercial evaluation of technologies developed by faculties/students, linkages with research funding agencies, linking to Startup India Mission and setting up of the incubation Centre at Tezpur University etc.
