NRDC Signed MoU with Greentech Mega Food Park Limited

New Delhi: Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) established M/s Greentech Mega Food Park Ltd. in PPP mode at Roopangarh, Bhadun Road, Ajmer, Rajasthan and the facility was inaugurated by Smt. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Honourable Union Minister, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India on 29th March 2018. 

 

During the event Chairman & Managing Director, Dr. H. Purushotham, NRDC, New Delhi and Mr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, Executive Director of M/s Greentech Mega Food Park Ltd., Ajmer signed a MoU in presence of Smt. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India; Shri Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Govt. of Rajasthan; Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India and other dignitaries.

 

Under this MoU NRDC provides patent filing assistance to start-ups in the Incubation Centre of M/s Greentech Mega Food Park Ltd. and facilitate the transfer of technologies to entrepreneurs and startups who would like to establish commercial ventures in the area of Food Processing in the Greentech Mega Food Park. The Food Park was established in an area of 50 acres at a cost of Rs.140 crores with the common infrastructure required for food processing entrepreneurs. Hon’ble Minister in her inaugural address stated that opening of Greentech Mega Food Park is a great boon to the local farmers and food industries of this region.
