BEML Bagged Rs. 400 Crore Order to Expand Metro Services in Bengaluru
New Delhi: Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), has bagged an order around Rs.400 Crore from Bengaluru Metro, to expand Metro train services in Bengaluru.
'BEML has received a contract for seven metro train sets of six cars configuration to augment the metro services in Bengaluru valued around Rs 400 crore,' the company informed stock exchanges in regulatory filings on Wednesday.
BEML has three main business verticals defence, mining and construction, and rail and Metro. The Company manufactures Rail & Metro coaches at its Bengaluru Complex and Mining & Constructions equipments and spare parts are manufactured in KGF and Mysore. And Defence & Aerospace equipments and aggregates are being manufactured at Mysore, KGF apart from Palakkad complexes.
