IOCL - Karnataka State Office And ALIMCO Signed MoU
Bangalore: Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (Karnataka State Office) and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India have signed MoUs on 22nd June 2018 at Bangalore valuing Rs. 65 lakhs for Distribution of Aids and Assistive Devices to Divyangjan at Karwar, Gulbarga and Shivamogga district. Under the CSR initiative of IOCL in the presence of Shri Noorana Dy. General Manager KSO-IOCL & Shri Anupam Prakash, Manager and Unit Head ALIMCO Bangalore, Shri G. Swaminathan Dy. General Manager (HR) - IOCL, Shri Rajesh Pant Dy. General Manager (HR) IOCL and other senior officials of both the organizations were also present during the signing of MoUs.
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, committed financial assistance under CSR initiative to Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) for the project, distribution of Aids & Assistive devices to approx 650-700 numbers of Divyangjans.
The main objective of the project is the distribution of aids and assistive devices to the persons with disabilities (PWDs), aimed at empowering this section of society to restore their confidence and bring them up to a reasonable level.
