MECL Launchs Nari Samriddhi Yojna as a CSR measure
NAGPUR. MECL has launched “Nari Samriddhi Yojna”in association with VAMA Club for development of women belonging to economically backward sections of the society.
The scheme was inaugurated by Mrs. Vijaya Dhawan, President of VAMA Club, in the presence of all women of MECL family recently. It is intended to provide a livelihood generation opportunity to women residing near MECL Corporate Office, Nagpur by providing them vocational training in Tailoring skill. The training is conducted at Gurukul Training Centre, MECL Corporate Office.
The aim of MECL behind implementing “Nari Samriddhi Yojna” is to provide a well-deserved opportunity for earning adequate means of livelihood to financially disadvantaged women. This initiative has come into existence due to the club’s unrelenting efforts supported by the CSR team at Corporate Office.
