DFCCIL Announces Vacancy for General Manager (Law) on Deputation

New Delhi, December 2025 – Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has issued a vacancy notice inviting applications for the post of General Manager (Law) at its Corporate Office. The appointment will be made on a deputation basis.

The vacancy is open to eligible officers from Indian Railways, Central Government departments, CPSUs, and other government bodies audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG), as per the eligibility conditions specified.

• Post: General Manager (Law)

• Tenure: 3 years, extendable up to 5 years (subject to approval)

• Mode of Appointment: Deputation

• Maximum Age: Not more than 55 years (as on closing date)

Eligibility Criteria

• Officers working in SAG (Level-14) or SG (Level-13) with at least 17 years of Group ‘A’ service in the relevant discipline

• PSU officers in IDA pay scale E8 (₹1,20,000–2,80,000) or E7 (₹1,00,000–2,60,000) with minimum four years’ service in the grade

• Essential Qualification: LLB from a recognised university or institute

Desirable Experience

• Drafting and vetting of contracts and agreements

• Legal matters related to infrastructure and construction projects

• Handling court cases, arbitration matters, land acquisition disputes, and writ petitions

• Liaison with Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Law & Justice, courts, and senior law officers

Role and Responsibilities

The selected officer will be responsible for providing legal advice on project-related matters, handling litigation and arbitration cases, coordinating with legal counsels, and supporting DFCCIL in resolving legal disputes efficiently.

• APAR ratings for the last five years

• Vigilance and disciplinary clearance
