ECL Releases List of Candidates Selected Under R&R Policy

New Delhi: Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited and a Government of India undertaking, has released the list of candidates selected for employment under the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) Policy of Coal India Limited for January 2026. The list was issued vide Reference No. ECL/CMD/C-6/Emp.LLS/25/520 and dated December 15, 2025.

The selection has been made in accordance with the Office Order issued by Coal India Limited in May 2021, which governs employment to land oustees and nominees affected by coal mining operations. Candidates from various operational areas such as Bankola, Jhanjra, Kenda, Kunustoria, Salanpur, and Satgram-Sripur have been included in the list.

ECL has clarified that the selection is provisional and subject to verification of character and antecedents by the respective area authorities. All selected candidates will be required to produce original documents along with self-attested copies of educational certificates and caste certificates, wherever applicable.

The concerned Area Managers (HR) have been instructed to submit important documents such as Police Verification Report (PVR), Initial Medical Examination (IME), Aadhaar details, bank account information, email ID, phone number, and passport-size photographs of the candidates by December 20, 2025.

Additionally, Area or Unit HR Officers have been advised to appear along with the selected candidates on December 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the office of the Head of Department (Recruitment & Employment), ECL, for document verification and completion of other formalities.
