Lucknow, 12 March 2026 – TVS Motor Company (BSE: 532343, NSE: TVSMOTOR), a global leader in two- and three-wheelers, today launched the TVS Orbiter V1 with a 1.8 kWh battery, the most accessible electric scooter in its growing EV portfolio. Alongside, the company introduced Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) across its electric vehicle lineup, offering customers a flexible ownership model that separates the battery cost from the vehicle price.

With the BaaS model, the TVS Orbiter V1 starts at ₹49,999 (ex-showroom Delhi, inclusive of PM e-Drive). For customers preferring the scooter without BaaS, the price is ₹84,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). This approach reduces the upfront cost while ensuring long-term battery assurance and peace of mind.

TVS Orbiter V1: Smart Urban Mobility

The TVS Orbiter V1 is designed for everyday city commuting, offering:

  • IDC-certified range: 86 km per charge

  • Fast charging: 0–80% in ~2 hours 20 minutes

  • Connected features: Mobile app integration, front LED headlamp, coloured LCD cluster with incoming call display

The scooter comes with an ergonomic design, featuring an 845 mm flat-form seat, a 290 mm straight-line footboard, wide upright handlebars, and 34-litre under-seat storage for two helmets.
