New Delhi:   BEML Limited, a leading public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has been conferred the “Innovative Company of the Year (Manufacturing) – Large Enterprises” award at the 12th CII Industrial Innovation Awards 2025.

The award was presented during the Global Summit on Technology, R&D and Intellectual Property, held on 16–17 December 2025 in New Delhi. The recognition highlights BEML’s excellence in engineering, advanced manufacturing, indigenisation, and innovation-led growth.

 

The award was received on behalf of the Chairman and Managing Director, BEML Limited, by Shri Ranvir Singh Chopra, CGM & Head (HO Cell, Delhi), and Shri Jitendra Kumar, Head (International Business Development).

Driving Innovation Across Strategic Sectors

BEML’s innovation portfolio spans defence mobility, rail transportation, and mining, contributing significantly to India’s technological self-reliance. Key indigenous platforms developed by the company include:

  • HMV 12x12 and 6x6 General Transport Vehicles (GTV)

  • Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Coaches

  • BEML Rope Shovel (BRS21)

  • 1,500 HP Engine for Main Battle Tanks
