The recognition was conferred for BPCL’s 2G–1G Integrated Bio-Ethanol Refinery at Bargarh, Odisha, acknowledging its innovative, integrated design and excellence in project execution.

New Delhi: State-owned BPCL has announced that it has been awarded the National Project Excellence Award (NPEA) 2025 under the One of its Kind category. The recognition was conferred for BPCL’s 2G–1G Integrated Bio-Ethanol Refinery at Bargarh, Odisha, acknowledging its innovative, integrated design and excellence in project execution.
The award was presented at the 33rd Global Symposium and 7th World Project Management Forum Meet 2025 in New Delhi.
This achievement stands as a testament to the dedication and collaboration of the E&P Biofuels team, supported by the guidance and encouragement of our leadership. The PSU Company is excited for achieving many more milestones as it is progressing towards commissioning of the 2G plant.
