Central Bank of India to waive off charges for non-maintenance of min-avg balance in Saving Account
Central Bank of India will waive charges for non-maintenance of minimum balance in savings accounts from July 1, 2025.

State-owned Central Bank of India has announced that it will waive off penalties or charges for non-maintenance of minimum average balance in saving Accounts with effect from July 1, 2025. The initiative reflects the dedication to understand the financial well-being and satisfaction of customers. These could be part of generous efforts to make banking simpler and more accessible for everyone.
The state-run bank has been engaged in several initiatives to ease finance banking. Recently, the bank has signed MoU with Tata Passengers Electric Mobility Ltd for financing its Dealers under Supply Chain Finance.

Shares of Central Bank of India are trading down by 0.46% at Rs 38.70 at BSE.
