IAS officer Pawan Kotwal serving as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Jammu and Kasmir Bank has been superannuated on December 31, 2025, and has therefore tendered his resignation from the position of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Bank.
New Delhi: IAS officer Pawan Kotwal serving as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Jammu and Kasmir Bank has been superannuated on December 31, 2025, and has therefore tendered his resignation from the position of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Bank.
Dr. Pawan Kotwal, a 1994 Batch IAS officer (of erstwhile Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre of Indian Administrative Service) is at present serving as Chief Secretary, UT of Ladakh.
During his term as Principal Secretary, Dr. Kotwal played a crucial part in bringing out crucial reforms and initiatives in health and medical education sector. He spearheaded the efforts to improve health care infrastructure, enhance medical education facilities, and promote the wellbeing of the people of Ladakh.
