PNB Launches ‘Krishi Aarambh’ Mega Outreach Drive Across 247 Rural Locations
Mumbai: Punjab National Bank organised a mega agriculture outreach programme titled ‘PNB Krishi Aarambh’ across 247 locations spanning villages, Gram Panchayats and rural centres across India. The initiative aimed to improve access to customised credit solutions for farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, Self Help Groups, rural women entrepreneurs and stakeholders involved in agri-infrastructure development.
The nationwide campaign was led by the bank’s top management along with senior officials from zones, circles and branches. Dedicated camps and awareness sessions were conducted across branches to educate rural customers about financing opportunities, government-backed schemes and digital banking solutions.
The programme witnessed strong participation from local communities and stakeholders, reinforcing the bank’s outreach in rural and semi-urban regions. Through these engagement sessions, customers were introduced to a range of products designed to support agriculture, allied activities and rural entrepreneurship.
The initiative highlights the bank’s continued commitment to strengthening the agriculture ecosystem through customer-centric products, digital innovation and targeted outreach. It also aligns with the Government of India’s broader vision to accelerate rural development and expand financial inclusion across the country.
