Punjab National Bank Announces Senior Management Changes Effective February 1, 2026

New Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has announced key changes in its senior management following regulatory disclosures made on January 31, 2026.

As per the bank’s filing under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Shri Sunil Agrawal, Chief General Manager of the Sastra Division at the Head Office, has retired on superannuation with effect from January 31, 2026.

In another important development, Shri Mrityunjay has been elevated within the bank’s leadership structure. With effect from February 1, 2026, he has taken charge as Chief General Manager (CGM), Zonal Office, Lucknow, succeeding his earlier role as Zonal Manager at the same office.

Shri Mrityunjay brings over 32 years of banking experience to the role. He holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s degree in Business Management, and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). His long-standing experience across key operational and leadership assignments is expected to strengthen the bank’s zonal operations in Uttar Pradesh.

Punjab National Bank stated that the changes are part of its routine leadership transition and succession planning process, in line with regulatory requirements.
