Sachin Suryakant Rane step-down as Chief of Internal Vigilance of HDFC Ltd
Before joining the bank, he was Senior Police Inspector and OIC of the Legal Cell, Airport Branch (Immigration). He had joined HDFC Bank as deputy CIV.

Mr. Sachin Suryakant Rane has resigned as the Chief of Internal Vigilance of the HDFC Ltd Bank with effect from the close of business hours today, i.e., on September 1, 2025. He would serve a 90-day notice period before leaving the office.
Mr. Rane has been overwhelmed by over three decades of experience managing fraud and financial crime investigations. Further, he is capable of handling several security setups as well as matters involving criminal offenses at both the national and international levels, according to HDFC Bank. He is a graduate of the Maharashtra Police Academy and Mumbai University.
Before joining the bank, he was Senior Police Inspector and OIC of the Legal Cell, Airport Branch (Immigration). He had joined HDFC Bank as deputy CIV on 20 March 2023.
