Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc., today announces the appointment of Mr. Randal Quarles, former Vice Chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve, as an SMBC Group Global Advisor.
Mr. Quarles possesses extensive knowledge and outstanding experience gained over an illustrious career spanning private investment funds and the U.S. government, most notably having served as Vice Chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve from 2017 to 2021.
