Government approves several re-designation of Deputy Secretary post
The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the D/o Higher Education presently held by Ms. Richa Verma IAS (HP:2012)

New Delhi: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the D/o Higher Education presently held by Ms. Richa Verma IAS (HP:2012), as Director, in the D/o Higher Education as a measure personal to her with effect from 01 .01.2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period up to 24.11.2030 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Some other approvals done are as follows:
Re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the D/o Higher Education presently held by Ms. Garima Sharma, IRS (lT:2012), as Director, in the D/o Higher Education as a measure personal to her with effect from 01 .01 .2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period up to 01 .09.2029 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the D/o Atomic Energy presently held by Shri Padmakar Kushwaha, IA&AS (2012), as Director in the D/o Atomic Energy, as a measure personal to him with effect from 01 .01 .2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the redesignated post, whichever is later and for a period up to 19.08.2029 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
The central deputation tenure of Shri Padmakar Kushwaha, IA&AS (2012) is w.e.f. 20.08.2024.
Re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the D/o School Education & Literacy presently held by Ms. Shalini Agnihotri, IFS (HP:2012), as Director, in the D/o School Education & Literacy as a measure personal to her with effect from 01.01.2026 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post, whichever is later and for a period up to 23.07.2030 i.e. total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
The central deputation tenure of Ms. Shalini Agnihotri, IPS (HP:2012) is w.e.f. 24.07.2025.
