Govt approves various posts of National Testing Agency under Department of Education
New Delhi, 29 August: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for the appointment of Shri Anshuman Sharma, IRS (IT:2005), as Joint Secretary, National Testing Agency (NTA), under the Department of Higher Education, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of DS/Director to the level of Joint Secretary in NTA, for an initial period of two years.
Shri Prasanna Venkatesh V, IAS (AP: 2012), has been appointed as Director in the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the D/o Higher Education under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Shri Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS (UT: 2012), has been selected for appointment as Director in the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the D/o Higher Education under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
The government has also approved the recommendation of the Civil Services Board (CSB) for the appointment of Ms. Sathiya S., IRS (IT:2011), Director, M/o Cooperation, as Director in the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the D/o Higher Education under the Central Staffing Scheme on a 'lateral shift' basis for a tenure up to 24.08.2030 (i.e., the balance period of her five-year deputation tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme at the Director level) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Shri Amit Samdariya, IRS (C&IT: 2016), has been selected for appointment as Joint Director (Deputy Secretary level) in the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the D/o Higher Education under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
