Shri Anupam Anand appointed as Joint Secretary of IN-SPACe

New Delhi: The Government has approved the proposal for appointment of Shri Anupam Anand, IAS (GJ:2000), as Joint Secretary, IN-SPACe, Ahmedabad under the Department of Space, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier,

He has replaced Shri Lochan Sehra an IAS officer (GJ:2007).

Mr. Anand is an IAS officer of the 2000 batch from the Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History (hons), an M.A. in International Politics from JNU, New Delhi, and an EMPA from Maxwell School, Syracuse University. Anand serves as Commissioner at the Transport Department. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
