Sairam as he embarks on his new journey as CMD of NCL. His visionary leadership elevated CCL to new heights with the company setting new performance records.

New Delhi: Shri Harish Duhan has taken over as Director (Technical) of Coal India subsidiary Central Coalfields Limited (CCL). Before joining CCL, he served as the General Manager at Coal India subsidiary Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL). He brings with him over 34 years of rich experience in the mining sector, including the successful execution of the first-mile connectivity (FMC), digitalization, and solar projects of Coal India.

The public sector entity Coal India’s subsidiary CCL has pondered a joint venture with the Jharkhand Government for the second phase expansion of Tenughat Thermal Power Station in the State. The total installed capacity of the thermal station is 420MW combining two units of 210 MW capacity each, where the first unit of 210 MW was put under commercial operation in September 1996 and the second unit in September 1997.
